Friday Night on the Town with GOLD STANDARD, a Funky Jazz Trio

An Evening of Live, Remixed Jazz and Cocktails!
This weekend, The Rock presents the funky jazz trio GOLD STANDARD! Bridging the gap between old-school jazz, soul, and electronic music. Gold Standard's "Remixed Jazz” combines jazz and pop vocals with live drums, DJ, sax, and flute. Their sound is a jazz/electro/soul hybrid, drawing from influences such as Frank Sinatra, Gnarls Barkley, and Daft Punk. Because they incorporate a skilled DJ in the mix, Gold Standard plays light, nostalgic jazz classics but still ramps things up with remixes and huge dance tracks with their award-winning DJ and live drummer.

It's about time we got back out on the town, listened to some great live music, and enjoyed some fine wine, beer, cocktails, and eats. And it's all executed with everyone's safety in mind in the spacious, carefully laid out subterranean O.P. Rockwell Music Hall (look for "the red door!"), now featuring a cutting-edge air purification system.

There is a limited number of seats available for this event. Charcuterie platters are available for purchase in advance when you book your tickets. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m.

Precautions we are taking to ensure everyone's safety: This is a COVID-conscious gathering. Your party will be seated a minimum of six feet away from other groups inside The Rock Building at 268 Main Street, which features a brand-new, air-purification feature. Tables are sanitized, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the room. Guests are required to wear their masks unless seated at their tables. We follow all Summit County COVID-19 guidelines.
